A huge part of what we do is supporting local independent businesses and connecting individuals with similar interests to a local befriender. For example we recently matched Doris, who wanted to attend church, with Patrick, a member of the congregation who was only too happy to drive her there and sit together. Everyone benefits from a close-knit community.
