While our monitoring system can let us know if someone needs additional help or urgent medical attention, our check-in phone calls and care are delivered by a team of friendly, dedicated Wellbeing Assistants. We also work with partners and volunteers from the Rushcliffe community to forge real connections between people with shared hobbies and interests and to keep those local independent businesses we all love flourishing.

Take Maude for example…
We help Maude get up every morning and pop around later to share lunch, but tonight she’s going to her daughter’s birthday dinner. She wants to arrive looking and feeling great, so we’ve arranged for the local hairdresser to visit and set her hair at midday.
Three’s a crowd, so when she’s finished with Maude’s hair, the stylist – an approved Care2Communities partner – will make her a sandwich, pop the kettle on and check in with us to let us know everything’s ok.
Maude fancies a lie-in after her night out, so she let us know in advance and her Wellbeing Assistant will be there an hour later to help her get ready for the day. They’re both looking forward to catching up over a cup of tea, and admiring Maude’s new hairdo.
